Made in His Image

Made in His Image

groom me?
I dare you to attempt to improve perfection
-made in His image
Through dedication: Inspiration is my daily bread
Magnify my Beauty
Identify my past
Caress each prayer
Deny what is visible to the natural heart
Groom me?
I dare you to attempt to improve perfection
Exhaust your imagination
Your efforts are in vain
Be slow to speak
Quick not to quit
Don’t throw in your white flag yet!
Fight absent mindedness
Seek first the kingdom of righteousness
And remember the blessings He has bestowed upon you
Don’t listen to the wicked
Become invisible to them
Shine your transparent light to lift all hearts on your road to redemption
It can be hard out there for a Queen
She must lift her veil so she can see
The blood leading a path just for me
Wipe the corrupt dust off your shoulders
Stretch your arms out as wide as the clouds
Prepare yourself for your stolen goods
Your love goods
Your prosperity goods
Your forgiveness goods
Taken by the thief who crawls out of the night
Who crept into your day
Because you opened your life’s door and lead the way
To every valuable piece to your life’s puzzle
Keep those wide arms open wide
In preparation for your goods to be returned to you
100 Fold…
Melt away global arrogance from your chest
Get dressed with the Amor of God
Numb your ears to this world insanity
Remain sane because He said the end is coming
He gave you those ears to hear his trumpets…
But still
You think you can
Groom Me?
I dare you to attempt to improve perfection
-made in His image
Through dedication
Inspiration is my daily bread.
Don’t allow the TV to develop your brain stream
Each trained thought is a channel changed
Ask yourself this…
Is ABC your mother?
Fox News your father?
And NBC your teacher?
Is BET and MTV your big brother and sister?
Fight for your God given rights
Free your brain from every insane thought that captivates your tongue.
Don’t throw in your white flag yet.
Resist absent mindedness
Resist the urge to be transformed to what is heard through the antenna given to you from the same thief in the night that you let in your day.
It can be hard out there for a King
All royalty must lift our veils so we can see…

Poetry In the Bible?

Job
Psalms
Proverbs
Ecclesiastes
Songs of Songs

Praise the Lord for this gift
that my brain and my heart unite everytime
these words I write
I'm sure you gave this gift
I did not know until yesterday
another inheritance was blessed upon me
from accepting & entering
the true land of the free
I’m dining & dancing with the King of Kings.

So for the readers please don’t mistake any of my other words; know that I am a believer, and my feelings do not falter any past experiences that lead me to today. I share my yesterdays to express my gratitude for every step that I am now away. Trust; each thrust, each movement, each effort of preservation was not accomplished without my Father, my Provider, my King who has taught me to Agape people because now I am a Queen.

Is he Feelin It?

So I ask myself after I get dressed, “is he feelin it?”
I mean after what we did because I know I am and from the gist of it
I can't tell
I slip on my coat slowly
I said slowly because I’m stalling
I'm preparing
for resistance....
Now I'm bleeding
You see I tripped and fell
I fell on the curb that I didn't see
my eyes are blurry
They got a little misty, while walking, to my car
Slowly...
walking slowly
I forgot to pay-attention to my feet....
so is he feelin it I mean feelin me?
Because I know I am, I hope so is he...
He must be, because he said to me
To call him when I get home he must love me
I know he cares, yea he cares for me.
Barely in the door
now I'm limping
from my fall
caused by foggy eyes
I reached for my cell
in my back pocket
in my right pocket
in my left pocket
dumped out my purse
reaching for my keys
to unlock my car…
now nursing
my left ankle
bc I twisted it
running to my car
I missed my neighbors skateboard
it snuck up on me
and I fell again, right over it.
But where's my phone?
my cell phone
I need to reach my man
My future husband or
baby daddy
so he won't stay up all night
waiting for my call
my safety call
bc I know he cares.
Yea he’s fillin it I mean he's feelin me.
